Positioned in the heart of Lancashire, Wilcocks Farm Caravan Site is the perfect base for either a weekend away a long stay exploring the North West.
 
The village of Horwich is 5 minutes from the caravan site offering shops, several excellent restaurants and a leisure centre. Middlebrook Retail Park, the home of Bolton Wanderers, a host of brand name shops and 2 supermarkets is less than 10 minutes away. Additionally, the towns of Bolton, Chorley and Wigan are all within 20 minutes drive.
 
A trip to the seaside at Southport, Blackpool or Morcambe is just an hour away. Alternatively, you could be in the Lake District within the hour. 
 

Rivington Country Park

This fabulous country park, which is right on our doorstep, was given to the people of Bolton by Lord Leverhulme. With miles of paths to explore you could climb to 1200ft peak of Rivington Pike, find the castle ruins on the banks of one of the 3 reservoirs or visit the Terraced Gardens and the Pigeon Tower.

Go Ape - Rivington

Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides... all set high up in the trees. Opening in Spring in the grounds of Rivington Country Park, this is sure to prove a local favourite.

On market day visitors can expect a unique shopping experience with the sound of traders shouting their wares. Tuesday is the busiest day when both the Flat Iron and Covered Market are in full swing with over a hundred stalls offering a wide variety of goods.
